How did The Rainbow get its colors...

Once upon a time...
Rainbow was colorless...
It floats up above in the sky, watch over the earth...

One day, a canary approached Rainbow and ask...
"Rainbow, why are you so dull and colorless?"
"I don't know..." Rainbow replied.
Rainbow thinks that it's might be because it might block the view for its friends, the birds...


The next day, rainbow appeared next to a pond, where all the colorful fishes swam and green trees were swaying.
Then rainbow thinks...
"It would be nice if I can be green, or red, or orange...or even blue..."
But he kept on believing that God made him this way for a purpose...

After a few years hanging, look over the earth from above...
Rainbow prays to God everyday for a color.
Then one day...
A chameleon yelled and laugh at the colorless Rainbow.

"Ha ha ha! Rainbow, you are so ugly...and dull and colorless...Why can't you be like me? I'm so cool! and everybody likes me." Chameleon says.

Rainbow became so sad...
But Rainbow still believe that God made him this way for a purpose...

Rainbow cried so hard that day...
God then saw Rainbow crying, and felt really sorry for rainbow and proud for Rainbow's faithfulness.

Then He said to rainbow,
"Rainbow...Rainbow...Do you not know why I made you this way?"

"No, my God...*sob* But I know that You made everything for a reason, and *sob* even though I really want to have color...But thank you God for making me the way I am..."

Replied Rainbow.

Then God smiled,
"Dear Rainbow...I made you colorless is so that you are not boastful and arrogant for your true color, and I'm glad that you are faithful to me...therefor I shall show you how colorful you really are..."

God took rainbow to the pond where the colorful fishes swam and green trees were swaying...
Then Rainbow looked at the reflection on the pond and surprised...
God not only gave Rainbow one color, not two colors...but every color that paints this world.

Rainbow thanked God for everything and it made a promise that it will never boast about the colors that Rainbow have and be arrogant.

So, everyone...Be faithful...Be thankful for how you are, because God created you that way for a reason...But be like rainbow, keep on praying...and God shall give you your colors ....
